After installing, the taskbar looks the same as always . . .
. . . but there is an extra "Desktop Manager" option in the right-click Toolbars properties. Click to enable it.
You'll see five extra buttons beside the system tray. The blue buttons switch between desktops . . .
. . . the green button shows all at once.
Before getting carried away, let's configure it.
You can give each desktop it's own wallpaper.
Now here's a tricky part. You can use hotkeys to switch between desktops . . .
. . . but doing so might conflict with any macro (or other) programs you have installed but I can find no way to disable the hotkeys for the desktop manager, so what I do is assign really awkward key combinations so it's unlikely I'll ever press them accidentally.
Fact is, you don't even need the buttons because if you press the green (MSVDM) button, you can "see" the desktops and click the one you want to jump to.
Note. There is four desktops. Everything else remains the same. Eg. There is only one windows clipboard... which means you can copy something from one desktop and paste it into another without problem or hassle.
That's it. Quick and easy.
